Helen and Howard have extensive experience in the NHS. Helen has a clinical and senior managerial background; Howard has a background in public health and has a reputation for innovation and thinking outside the box. Both provide consultancy support to NHS organisations in undertaking service reviews, developing strategies and service management frameworks. In 2001, they set up Innove Ltd and in 2009, in partnership with John Keogh, established Innove Solutions.
For the last 10 years Helen and Howard have been developing innovative solutions to enable NHS service commissioners and providers to assess the delivery of whole systems care. Working in partnership with BT, Innove Ltd launched the first whole systems tool (DiabetesE) to monitor the implementation of the Diabetes National Service Framework. In 2009, Innove Solutions was awarded the contract to redevelop and enhance the DiabetesE software. Helen and Howard are currently looking at developing self assessment tools for other service areas.
Johns primary role in Innove Solutions is to project manage the many varied ICT projects that the company is involved in.
After working in the ICT industry for over 20 years, John has gained detailed knowledge and skill in delivering large database systems using a variety of platforms such as SQL Server, MySQL and Access. Clients he has worked for include NHS Primary Care Trusts, NHS Direct, The Health Protection Agency, The Department of Health, The Football Association, Liverpool City Council, Wigan Leisure Trust, Ralph Lauren.
John also has a vast experience of teaching using face to face and elearning systems. He is currently completing his DTLLS teaching diploma building upon the PTLLS qualification that he recently completed.
Working for a number of large organisations, Mike has acquired extensive knowledge and skills in database design and implementation that enable data flows from many diverse environments, such as, SQL Server, Oracle, Access, flat file, XML and Linux based systems. Transferring and designing database schemas, is one of Mike’s great strengths. Using TSQL, LINQ, PL/SQL, C# and the .NET 3.5 framework, Mike delivers robust, multi-user, relational database solutions for the larger clients of Innove Solutions. Mike is currently working on the implementation of the new .NET 4.0 MVC framework into the core software libraries used by Innove Solutions.
Mike has a wealth of experience and expertise, working on a wide range of diverse web applications utilising e-commerce, pay per click, search engine optimisation and email marketing techniques to deliver real business driven solutions. Key to the success of these projects was the user experience and the interface designs developed by Mike.
As well as using the latest .NET technologies, Mike also has extensive knowledge of classic asp and php programming, which is extremely useful when inheriting and updating older websites.
Working on iPhone and iPad applications is taking up a lot of Mike’s time at the moment using Objective C to integrate video and sound into a number of health related apps.
With over 10 years of work experience in both the public and private sector, Rachael has developed a wide range of administrative and IT skills including website design, content/database management and design production.
Rachael has helped many clients maintain consistency across their websites, ensuring style and content are as effective and as consistent as possible. Rachael has also been responsible for managing, publishing and distributing monthly and quarterly newsletters for a number of companies including H. J. Heinz Ltd. She provides first point of contact for the DiabetesE Help Desk.
