Following the success of the Active Living programme at Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust, the service was expanded to engage more people to lead healthier lifestyles through gentle exercise programmes. Innove Solutions has replaced the previous Access/Excel system with a .net multi-user database solution using SQL Server 2008 for all the back end storage. All the existing data was imported using SSIS scripts and the new system gives the Active Living Team complete control over all the information stored on their participants.
A full reporting system was built from scratch, using Crystal Reports. The system was further enhanced in 2009 to accept data from Scanpal bar card scanners and to import third party data via csv files on a weekly basis. To facilitate a new telephone helpine in 2011 a custom designed triage system was integrated into the system with an associated reporting engine.

Innove Solutions was commissioned by Datatrace to redesign their website to reflect the company’s professional and dependable image, and to make it easier to navigate. This involved re-coding the database, creating a client and employee login area, designing new content pages and introducing new photography.

Built upon the Joomla CMS platform and the K2 component to allow for powerful control over content presentation, Innove Solutions developed a custom theme/template to lend the website a bespoke feel that matched existing branding, while retaining all of the manageability expected of a CMS-based website. Custom-built with ASP.Net, the Drew Photography website focusses attention on the photography displayed and any related vital information. A simple, clean white and grey aesthetic ensures that the visitor is never distracted by the interface and therefore navigates their way around the clearly identified categories and website areas. Darker, bold links subtly provide access to additional information (such as prices and access to gallery areas offering larger collections of sample images) if the visitor requires it, while jQuery is used to rotate confidence-inspiring customer comments and provide fading transitions between content and galleries that add to the feeling of professionalism.
